Google has rolled out a new feature in Gemini called Spark that can actively manage your Google Photos library. It handles tagging, organizing, and surfacing relevant images — moving beyond passive search to proactive photo management.

The feature is rolling out to users with Google Photos and is one of the more practical consumer-facing AI integrations from this cycle. It ties directly into Google’s broader push to make Gemini a deeper layer in the Android and Google One ecosystem.

For privacy-conscious users: check your Google Photos sharing settings if you don’t want this feature enabled by default.
